A Simple Tuesday Prayer

Merciful God, you are patient and kind,

Take my week, my time, my mind,

Christ was humble, Christ was meek,

I just stumble, throughout the week,

Your works are great and fully show,

All the ways which I need to grow,

To hold fast with patience to your ways,

To read your word throughout all my days,

You have made the stars and the skies,

Please forgive me for all my lies, 

The clouds and trees you formed and made, 

On this day please be my aid, 

Your kingdom come your will be done,

Make me more like Christ your son, 

Take my week, my time, my mind,

Hear my prayer, as you're inclined. 

In Christ's name,
