Revoice, Missouri Presbytery, Memorial Presbyterian Church, and pursuing peace & unity in the church

For the last 11 months or so I and several others have been in prayer and conversation about the work God is doing in, through, and around the St. Louis.

Last year I said I was done writing on the topic, and so I am done writing, but I'll post the Committee Report and adjoining investigative report. There was a particularly convicting paragraph that spurred me on to share these reports:

"We ask that all of our readers join us in the prayer and hope that the Holy Spirit would use this report to help us all know and better love one another in grace and truth. We hope that as we do, all those involved—our critics, Revoice, and Memorial, and our SSA brothers and sisters will know that we have tried diligently to understand their concerns and fears."

I'm very thankful to be a part of a denomination that is humble enough to ask questions, follow procedure, and consider carefully the concerns and opportunities that arise in the midst of the spiritual war that rages in and around Christian communities and communities that are not Christian.
