Visualization of occurrences of Abraham, Faith, and Belief
I wanted to see just how closely associated with faith Abraham is in word frequency throughout the New Testament. Below is a chart displaying the following:
A: NT Verse that explicitly contains the name "Abraham"
B: True or False statement if the verse contains "πίστις" (faith)
C: Next closest use of the word "πίστις" (faith)
D: Next closest use of the word "πιστεύω" (believe)
E: True or False statement if the chapter immediately preceding or following contains the word "πίστις" (faith) or "πιστεύω" (believe)
The results are pretty eye opening with how frequently Abraham is used as an OT example and point of reference for faith and belief.
